Not ridiculous at all, coverage of this has been ongoing for weeks with many political experts suggesting Sen. Reed and Republican Sen. Hagel are the top two front runners for the choice. Speculation fueled even more by their trip to the Middle East together and all the recent exposes on Reed in the local papers. Call it crazy, I know, but could very well happen.
Hefe -- I should have been more clear ... I think it's ridiculous that he's 'not interested'. Why the hell wouldn't he be interested, it would be the biggest thing in his political life and would put Rhode Island on the map!
